Poppy Colibri

Poppies are harvested in bud but sometimes "pop" open in the van. We sear the ends of these stems with a blow torch to cauterize them. Wildly, this helps them hydrate for us. If you want to help a poppy "pop" you can gently peel off the skin of the bud. Vase Life 4-6 days. 

These babies are a bit finicky to grow sometimes so their season varies some but this year and in past years we have had them from February - early May depending on the weather.
