Eucalyptus

A while back we heard that you could perennialize eucalyptus inside tunnels in Virginia, well that is most certainly true!  We started with one row, then we added two rows, now we have an entire tunnel plus two rows of eucalyptus!  We never seem to have enough of this amazing smelling foliage!  It paid for the tunnel and then some in the very first season. 

Our season runs late June/ early July - November/Thanksgiving and then Winter Jan - February

Dryable

Vase Life= 7-12+ days depending on cultivar and season it is harvested.  Fresh early euc has a shorter vase life will euc harvested in the fall and winter has a very long vase life.

Chilling:  This is a woody cut stem therefore the general rule of thumb is to store them in an air conditioned room, not in a walk in cooler set below 50 F.
