Penstemmon- Beardtongue

This is newer one for us as a cut, but we know many flower farmers that grow this versatile perennial.  We should be able to use it as a cut foliage, gorgeous cut flower, and as stems with seed pods!

We are exploring this plant family and have invested in several varieties ranging from green with white or blush flowers to burgundy stems with white/blush/pink flowers then burgundy pods.  Keep a lookout for these new beauties in our line up!

So far we plan on cooling them in our walk in cooler, and they should have at least a 1 week vase life.
