Tulip

This diverse crop is one we are striving to perfect every season.  Last year (2024) we added a heated greenhouse specifically to force tulips into bloom in the winter and it was a smashing success!  We were harvesting tulips by mid January!  For this coming winter (2025) we hope to have tulips from the very first week in January until early April.  Tulips come in so many shapes and forms not just the standard single tulip.  We grow all the fancy ones with delicate colors and unique forms like parrots, doubles, fringes, and even double fringes.  We have fallen in love, we hope you will too! 

Many of these beauties continue to grow in stem length once cut as well as flowers growing and sometimes color shifting!  Tulip Magic!  For instance Copper Image starts out more orangey salmon then opens and fades to a warm peachy copper!  Charming Lady starts out creamy blush pale yellow then gets more yellow as it ages!

Did you know that the very first stock market was for tulips?  And guess what!? It crashed!
