Zinnia Large

These are the larger zinnias that come in a rainbow of colors generally more saturated.   We are gradually isolating the color pallet on the larger zinnias we are growing to meet the demand for paler tones.

Deep Red- is only grown for our fall season

We have some new selections from Johnnys' breeding program.  

Aurora- looks like a rainbow

Ballerina- is a mix of pale pink blushes and pale peach tones with a mix of double blooms and semi cactus blooms.  

Linen- "The color range consists of warm, flaxen tones. Developed by Johnny's Breeding Team and named 'Linen' for its clean, almost neutral color palette. Fresh-cut blooms are oatmeal in color with a pale pink or pale peach cast. As the blooms age, they display more pink and peach hues. Expect some variation in bloom form and color: a small percentage of cactus-shaped flowers and about 5% of plants will produce ivory blooms." ~ Johnny's Selected Seeds description.

The zinnias bloom over a very long window of time for us, Mid/Late June-October when the frost arrives.

Vase Life= 5-7 days occasionally some will last longer. 

Chilling: Do not put in a cooler unless it is set to 50 F or above.  Mostly we store them in an air conditioned room out of the direct sun..
